When you submit our contact form, request our briefing materials, email us, or call our intake line, we receive the information you provide: your name, work email, company, and the substance of your inquiry. Our systems also record the country associated with your network connection and standard technical logs kept by our hosting provider. Our website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
Calls to our intake line may be recorded and transcribed for accuracy and quality; the recording disclosure is made at the start of each call, consistent with California's two-party consent law. Do not continue the call if you do not consent.
To respond to your inquiry, deliver materials you request, evaluate whether we can act for you, and — where you have requested materials from us — send you occasional updates relevant to your equipment category, each with a working unsubscribe. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Because our practice concerns United States national-security regulation, we screen prospective clients and their organizations against publicly available sanctions and ownership data before entering an engagement. By submitting an inquiry on behalf of a company, you acknowledge this screening.
Service providers acting on our instructions: website and data hosting, email delivery, customer-relationship management, telephone and voice-transcription services, AI-assisted intake processing, and sanctions-screening data services. Each receives only what its function requires. Our systems and records are hosted in the United States; if you contact us from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
We retain inquiry records while they remain relevant to a current or prospective engagement, and engagement records as professional-responsibility and legal obligations require. Access is limited to personnel who need it; data is encrypted in transit.
You may unsubscribe from any of our emails using the link they contain, and you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to [email protected]. We will honor such requests except where retention is required for legal or professional obligations. California residents and visitors from other jurisdictions with privacy statutes may exercise the rights those laws provide through the same address; we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.
